Bargain Beauty Haul

So I went shopping the other day and picked up a few more bargains and wanted to share them and review a few of them too.

The first place I went was Discount UK and the first thing I bought was the Myleene Klass stick on nail wraps. They had them on offer for 39p or 3 for£1, I only wanted one to start with because I have tried another version of the nail wraps before but they were just some rudolf ones from poundland and didn't go down very well. I bought them in a blue colour with a daisy design on them and they look so cute. You can get them at boots for £5.99 (Here) So that is a great bargain.
The next thing I bought was the Maybelline baby lips balm in antioxidant berry. You can pick it up for $6 Here but I managed to get it for 99p

I carried on my search ( you gotta do a bit of hunting for a bargain) This next one really took me by surprise it is by Miss Sporty and the first thing in this three pack was  the zebra nail wraps (You can pick these up for £1.99 Here) Next was an unidentified lipstick, it is very peachy and smells like watermelon (No link because I have no idea what its called LOL) but Im guessing it would cost at least £1 on its own. Lastly was the miss sporty turquoise nail polish ( You can buy it Here for £1.99) and the total price I paid for all three of these products was just £1 so I think it was totally worth it.

Next to follow on from my last beauty haul where I picked up these two ranges from rimmel london. The first one was the metal rush, this time I got it in Gold Save the Queen (you can buy it Here for £2.72) last time I got the royal blue one. It is lovely and it dries so quickly- as all rimmel ones do.
The next one I got was from the precious stones collection adn I got the Ruby Crush one (You can buy it Here for £3.99) and last time I got the Diamond dust one.

The next place I went was poundland and I managed to pick up a cheaper version of the tangle teaser (which works really well can I add) and I got a cuticle moisturizer

The last place I went was the 99p shop and I picked up a salon creative mango body scrub. This follows on from my last beauty haul where I picked up the green tea and jasmine clay mask from the 99p shop (You can see my last haul Here) and did a review of it too--- It was so lovely and smelt amazing.(you can see the review Here) You can pick up the mango scrub Here for £7.99)

The last few things are foody buys so here we go:

I have wanted to try different iced teas but all I can find is Lipton iced tea and its full of sugar but when I came across this brand I was very excited to try it. Its called Just T and they had four flavours available. Citrus, elderflower, peach and raspberry. I wasnt keen on lemony or flowery tea so went for the peach and raspberry. The packaging is so cute and I just couldn't wait. I have tried the peach one so far and the only thing I would say is to make it concentrated and then dilute to taste but very nice.

Lastly I went back and picked up two products that I bought in my last haul just because I loved them so much and the price was amazing. I got the salon creative clay face mask and the Creighton’s movie matte photo finish moisturiser for £1 each

Thats it guys I hope you enjoyed my haul. Did you get any beauty bargains this week? Let me know in the comments and don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss a thing!

Quick Coupon Haul

Coupon Haul

Just a really quick and small coupon haul. I only managed to pick up three different things this time. Two of them will be added to my stockpile so here we go.

The first one that I got was two more of the mission deli wraps I spoke about the mini ones in my last coupon haul where I got 9 packs for free (Link Here) This time I managed to pick up two packs of the large wheat & white wraps. They were on offer in Asda 2 for £2 and I had two 50p off coupons from The Metro (6.8.14 edition you can print it Here -- on page 5) they are still dated till 1st November 14 so still plenty of time to pick more up. So that made them 2 for £1, bargain!

I then picked up a second packet of the twinings english breakfast teabags (I got my last pack in my another coupon haul you can see Here) They were still on offer for £1 and I had a 50p off coupon so that made them 50p-- Woop Woop!!!
Lastly I went into boots and they had all of their Bach rescue pastilles on offer. They took off £1 off the whole range. I managed to find the blackcurrant pastilles and they were £3.69 and I had a £2 off coupon (This coupon is from a long time ago and was well dated- I think it was from their facebook page but they are all gone now) so that meant I only payed £1.69

That is it for now but I should have another coupon/cashback haul at the very end of the month. I will be uploading a second blog today about the bargain beauty stuff  I picked up the other day so check that out too and I have a review of a very popular product I have been asked to try out so as soon as it arrives I will be posting a new blog--- woop! So make sure to follow me here and on twitter @carlyryan89 to keep up to date on what Im up too. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Inspiring People - Zoella, Dazzabound & MrTomRees100

I have recently been going through some tough times and have lived with depression and anxiety along with other issues, so I wanted to do a blog post to display that there are a few people that have been inspiring me to keep moving forward. These people inspire me to keep moving forward and it includes three people who are vloggers and I love watching them. I have alot of admiration for  people who start vlogging, it takes alot of guts to get in front of the camera and put yourself and your life out there.

There are alot of us in the world who have and do suffer with depression and anxiety and there are a couple of people who I have been watching and reading about over the past few weeks and months who have put themselves out there and are really making a big difference in my life in particular as well as many others.

There have been alot of posts recently after the passing of Robin Williams about depression and anxiety and I wanted to share a few of my thoughts. I was deeply saddened (as were alot of people) by the passing of such a comic genius. He was a big part of my childhood and he has left a big hole in everyones lives.
Alot of people suffer with depression and anxiety and it is just one of those subjects that is kept under wraps a little bit I guess and  I wanted to share my thoughts. It is such a shame that is has taken the passing of someone so great to get people to talk about depression and really get the issues out there.

I was always told that I can't possibly be depressed and that I had no reason to be depressed and not to be so stupid and just to get on with my life, but it is not that easy. I got to a point in my life where I would not leave my house without my fiance with me because I was so scared of everything.
Now I have been using many things (including the following people's videos) to help me improve and push myself to be a better and happier person.

Zoella

I have been following Zoella for quite a while and watching her videos and reading her blogs and I love her. She recently put up a few videos about how she suffers from anxiety and possible ways to help prevent it and to deal with it. Now you wouldn't think it to look at her, to see her videos you would think that she has the perfect life and she has no reason to complain and suffer from anxiety but when I saw this video (Sometimes it all gets too much) and I felt really happy and proud  that she was able to display such raw and real emotions. It is incredibly difficult  to put yourself out there. Along with Zoe's success there have been a big increase in her being asked to do a wide variety of tasks which are obviously very scary and although she has taken it all in her stride she still tells everyone in her videos how scary it is but also she has the courage to push herself to do more things.

Another video that I have just watched really shows Zoe in a very different light and that is a video by Ruby hgjkshgdk (Ruby)  and I love this video (Zoe Sugg II Zoella - Human)

Zoella definitely deserves her success and I hope that she continues to create inspiring videos for everyone to enjoy.

A few inspiring videos by Zoella:

Anxiety- Q & A- Zoella

Little ways to change your life-Zoella

Now the following two people (as far as I know) don't suffer from depression or anxiety but have put their lives on film and shared it all with the world and I wanted to share my admiration for them

Dazzabound

I have been watching Dale's videos for quite a while now because he does a series called Animal Crossing New Leaf Diaries  and I love it, he is very funny.
He has recently started a new vlog channel called Dale's Story  and although he does  not appear to suffer with depression that is not the reason I have included him in this blog, I wanted to share his channel and the wonderful work he does because he works so hard on his channels and in his life and is so lovely to be able to see a very small segment of someones life. It is very comforting to watch his videos and share a part of his world.
He is very inspirational to me because it takes alot of guts to get infront of the camera (as I have already said) and yeah thats it really. You should all subscribe he is great.

MrTomRees100

Now Tom is a new one for me, I have started watching Toms videos and wanted to share his channel with you all as another person who has got the guts to get in front of the camera and share his world with everyone. He has two channels (Tom Rees and More Tom) and he is working very hard to get himself out there and get noticed. He is lovely and very inspiring.

Anyway this post is a little bit soppy but I wanted to share these three people who have been inspiring me to get myself back out there and to tell them all to keep doing what they are doing because they are great.

Beauty Review: Salon Creative Jasmine & Green Tea Clay Mask

So I bought the clay mask from the 99p shop last week. ( I included it in my haul which you can see Here)

To help me with the face mask today I also bought a 6 in 1 facial mask tool set from Ebay which you can buy Here (I won an auction for just 27p the original listing is here)

My lovely assistant (pictured below) is my fiance and he helped me test the face mask because he suffers from very sensitive skin and psoriasis so it is important to have products that are suitable for highly sensitive skin.

So first of all the texture is very smooth and cooling when applied. I would say you only need about half of what is pictured above because we were left with some at the end
Mix it well and apply to face. He said it tightened his skin as it dried. It smelt lovely but not over powering.
As we were waiting the ten minutes that it took to dry/set I put the remainder into a small pot for future use.

I soaked a face cloth in warm water and washed the face mask off. After this I patted his face dry and applied a thin layer of moisturizer ( this helps to hydrate the skin)

Anyway onto the review.. Overall the face mask is an amazing price for the size of the tube.It is definatly worth the price (Considering it is worth £4.99 (source=google search)) The product went on smoothly and smelt lovely, I would recommend this face mask especially if you are on a budget.

Have you tried this clay face mask? What other ones do you recommend?

Bargain Review: Cosmopolitan Essentials Tools Vanity Case for just £2.49!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So a few days ago I was browsing on the Argos website and came across this beauty of a bargain and just could not pass it up. This is the Cosmopolitan Essentials Tools Vanity Case and it is currently on sale for £4.99 (reduced from £26.99) Along with that you can use Nectar points as part or full payment. I had £2.50 worth of points (I earned these points using Nectar Ad Points) so that brought the price down even further to just £2.49. The eye lashes alone would cost you more then that (even a cheap brand) You can pick yours up Here

This kit includes:

A pink case
Tanning mitt
Eyelash curlers
False eyelashes
4 brushes
A set of false nails and a makeup sponge!

First of all the case is alot bigger then I expected and is reasonably sturdy. The brush set was the one thing I was most impressed with and I am in love with the angled brush and the smudger. (Actually scrap that I love them all) The manicure set is weighty and very well made.

Overall I am very impressed with this kit! Bargain of the week!

So have you reserved yours yet? Well what are you waiting for?

Bargain Beauty Haul: Poundland, Discount UK, 99p Shop and Superdrug

The first place that I went was Superdrug and they had a new range of "I Love Strawberries & Cream" and I tried out the body spritz spray. It smelt amazing so yummy and I just had to have it and it only cost £2.99. You can buy it: Here

The next thing I bought  was the MUA (Make Up Academy) 12 piece eyeshadow palette in the shade "Undress me too" I got this one for £4. I love the look of this one, I was looking for a range of nude eyeshadows I could use for work and this one looked perfect. You can buy this one: Here

The next thing that I bought was the MUA (Make Up Academy) pressed powder in the shade 1; which is the lightest and fairest shade they do. (The one on the left) You can buy this one: Here

The next place I went to was Poundland and I got the Chit Chat Pressed powder in a slightly darker shade and Im going to use it to add a bit of colour to my cheeks.

The next thing I bought in poundland was a twin pack of nail polishes, the first one is a lemon yellow colour and the second one is a lavender one and they are the Astor brand. The coverage is okay but it does take a few coats to get it right. I might try doing a white base coat first then putting the colour over the top.

As soon as I smelt this moisturizer I was in love it smells amazing and the packaging reminds me of Soap and Glory. The brand is Creightons Movie Matte Photo Finish Moisturizer- Yummy!

The next place that I went to was the 99p shop, I don't normally go in here but I really wanted to find a clay face mask that was suitable for sensitive skin and I found one by the brand "Salon Creative" and it smells lovely. Its the Green Tea and Jasmine scented one and I think Im going to be doing a review of this soon with the help of my beautiful assistant (LOL well my fiance)

The next product I found was by the brand "Quicksilver" and its the Aftersun cool down gel (The RRP is £4.99 and you can buy it: Here and I got it for 99p and it smells very nice. Im kind of looking forward to a little sunburnt lol

The last product that I bought in the 99p Shop was the Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask I actually saw a review on someones blog about it and I really wanted to give it a go. It smells yummy and has a nice thick consistency.

The final shop in my haul for today was "Discount UK" I don't know how common this shop is around the country but it is sort of like Pound Stretcher and has alot of brand names at great prices.

The first thing I got was a single rimmel london Glam Eyes eyeshadow block in the shade " 410 Plum Romance" and this retails for £4.49 and you can buy it: Here but I only had to pay £1

The next product was an amazing price I only payed £1 for a twin pack by Barry M.

The first one was the Barry M glitter liquid eyeliner in the colour black. The reccomended retail price is £2.99 and you can buy it: Here (but Im pretty sure that is a reduced price already) This one looks amazing and has a lovely blue, green and gold glitter base and looks so pretty!

The second part of the twin pack is this beautiful silver glitter lashes by Barry M and you just twist the end and add a touch of glittery sparkle to the end of your eyelashes I would love to get this in more colours if I can. So pretty and I love glitter.

I have saved my best and fav buys for the day till last I found these two Rimmel London nail polishes for £1 each.

The first one (one the left) is the Rimmel London Precious Stones High Coverage Glitter nail polish in "001  Diamond Dust" It has a subtle base of black and silver glitter and an overlay of bigger silver and iridescent (I think that is the right word it catches the light) glitter and is so pretty.
This product retails for £3.99 and you can buy it: Here

The second one (on the right) is the Rimmel London Metal Rush in the shade Royale Blue ( this retails for £3.99 and you can buy it: Here . This shade reminds me of the mermaid shade by barry m and it is two toned and is so pretty. I think this is the year of the metal polishes.

Thaat is it for my bargain beauty haul and I think I got some great buys. If you are interested in seeing a more detailed look and review at any of the products I bought then just comment below.

Coupon Haul- Very small coupon haul

I only managed to get a few bits and pieces yesterday with my coupons but I did go to Tesco and Asda and got four things I wanted.

The first bargain was from Tesco and I found the Go Ahead Raspberry Crispy Slices reduced to clear for 60p and I had a 50p off coupon (from a recent Bzzagent) so that made it only 10p- Woop!

(If you want to know more about Bzzagent then I can do a review of their website, it is an amazing website where you sign up and they send you stuff to review online and its really good. So let me know in the comments if you want a review)

Next I went to Asda and picked up two boxes of tea. The Twinings everyday tea (40 pk) was on offer for £1 and I had a 50p off coupon which made it 50p, so a very cheap cuppa!

I also picked up my new fav for the summer (Iced tea) well I make it as iced tea anyway. the Twinings Strawberry, Raspberry and Loganberry is so yummy on a hot day and only 2 cals per teabag. This one was £1.20 and I had another 50p off coupon so that made it 70p!

I wanted to go straight passed the chocolate isle but it didn't happen and I ended up picking up two 200g bars of the Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations Cold Pretzel Honeycomb, now this might sound nasty but it is so good and it is by far my fav one out of the collection they brought out, I got two for 50p each so a very good bargain.

The last coupon item is the Febreze Sleep Serenity Quiet Jasmine  and it was reduced to £2 (very good for febreze bedding spray) and I had a £1 off coupon (from Supersavvyme- if you want a review of their website and links to coupons etc then just comment down below) which made it £1- amazing and smelling great

So thats all for today I will probably have another coupon shop later in the month (money is abit tight at the moment)
